The Franchise made a name for himself early on in ECW when in 1994 after winning the prestigious NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship he proceeded to throw it down holding up the NEW Banner. The Banner of Extreme. The Banner of ECW! Shane Douglas went on to hold the ECW World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions. During his tenure in ECW he broke the neck of Pitbull Gary Wolfe. The Franchise moved on from ECW in 1999 leaving for WCW and eventually XPW before settling in doing indy shows and in January 2012 he announced he was running a 'Extreme Reunion' show that was on 4/28/12 infront of a sold out standing crowd in Philly. Extreme Reunion now renamed Extreme Rising has rose up and is taking is spot in wrestling's fame once again as that promotion that the fans WANT.
